Teoreticheskoe novanie optimal'nogo tempa v akademicheskoi greble
(Theoretical foundation of optimal rate in boat-racing)
The aim of this paper is to offer the theoretical basing of the boat's crew working effectiveness's dependence on the rowing rate.
The results of the study had allowed to state the next:
1) the importance of optimal rate increases practically linearly with the boat's mass decrease;
2) the decrease of oarsmen's efforts widens the scope of optimal rate;
3) the most economical way to reach the better results in rowing is to support the optimala rate.
