The analysis of decathlonists' technique shot-put, carried out by the authors in conditions of training process and competitions, has allowed to find the presence of general technical errors inherent to the majority of decathlonists, to which the coaches and athletes should pay attention at the further work. These technical errors are described in the article. Besides, the complexes of special exercises for the training of correct shot-put technique are presented in this article.
