Alternation of the results of Lithuanian National Team of track and field women athletes (multiathlonists) at the 1999-2003 European Cup competitions

The aim of the research was to analyse general consistent patterns and individual peculiarities of alternation of results of Lithuanian National Team of track and field women-athlete (multiathlonists) round events during the 1999-2003 European Cup. Summary: Lithuanian and European track-and-field multiathlonists achieve their best results in those events, which are similar by their biomechanical structure of movements. The results of events are mostly influenced by the speed of movements and relative capacity of 5-25 s. Lower results are achieved in other events whose results are impacted by the absolute indicators of force-speed (javelin throwing, shot putting) and endurance (800 m running). 3 types of physical load - agility-force, force-speed and endurance prevail in the trainings and competitions of multiathlonists. Their integral correlation does not equally impact the sports results of all events because of the interrelative integration process of different positive and negative physical peculiarities.
