Using loaded and unloaded jumps to increase speed and power performance in elite young and senior soccer players

Speed and power abilities are progressively required in contemporary soccer to enable players to fulfill the demands of a competitive match. However, there are limited scientifically based recommendations related to training strategies able to improve these neuromuscular capacities in soccer athletes. This article highlights the evidence available in the literature while also applying it to strength and conditioning professionals who seek effective approaches to increase sprint and jump performances in elite young and senior soccer players.).
