The FIFA World Cup presents the highest level of world football, and is one of the largest sport games of the world. Since it started in 1930, the FIFA World Cup has been held 19 times in the last 80 years, and awarded champions to eight national teams. To understand the relationship between the team strength and match result, the authors analyzed the match results of all matches played by the champion teams in the last 19 FIFA World Cup games. Methods Literature review, mathematical statistics and logical analysis were conducted for the champion teams in the last 19 FIFA World Cup game Results & Discussion 1. Attacking Tactic Dominates the Match. The attack is the main driving force to improvet he football game. 2. During the high-level football matches, the team with strong overall strength will definitely win the matches, unless there are some special or occasional factors in the matches. 3. Although the FIFA World Cup champion teams may have an imbalance in the overall attack and defense capabilities, they all have absolute superiority of wining the match or have a draw. 4. The balance between attack and defense is the key principle, while what the teams pursuit is to break the between attack and defense.
