Les systèmes d`enregistrement et d`analyse quantitatifs dans le football

(Quantitative notational systems in football )

Objective Review of the different notational systems used in analyzing football. Current knowledge Football uses different notational systems in order to provide coaches with valid information allowing them to optimize players preparation. Prospects Football is still looking for a valid and reliable technology for its analysis. GPS technology can, in a near future, replace or complement existing technologies. No notational system is perfect in its analysis. But the combination of two or more systems can yield a better picture of the game. Conclusion No notational system can claim to measure all parameters of a football game. A combination of a video system and a high frequency GPS that is to be tested and validated presents a good potential for the future of task analysis.
