The purpose of the experiment was to study the influence of breaking-relaxation processes and retractive characteristics of muscles on the results of testings of football players. The method of computer polymyography, developed Yu.V. Vysochin was used for studying the mechanisms of regulation and coordination of any movements, the control for retractive and relaxation characteristics of skeletal muscles, the functional condition of central nervous and nervous-muscular systems. It was revealed, that football players with high speed of relaxation of muscles, who withstand big physical loads well, have sustained the intense of the preparatory period and came to the beginning of a game season in the excellent sports form. For the athletes with low relaxation characteristics of muscles the same loads, appeared excessive by results of testings.
