The aim of this study was to determine whether there is influence predictor system situational efficiency of top players on the criterion variable total time spent on the court, respectively the situational parameters that dictate how much time to spend in one basketball game. The study was conducted on a sample of twelve (12) basketball teams participating Olympics 2012. in London, where a total of 144 subjects were/premium players. In the analyzed sample observed a total of 17 variables for assessing situational efficiency. Regression analysis, we sought to examine the impact of situational effectiveness of basketball as a predictor of the criterion variable total time spent on the court . The analysis shows that there is a connection between the predictor variables of the system and criterion variables in a statistically significant level (p= 0.000 ) and the coefficient of multiple correlation is very high at R = 0.963. The predictor variables of the system, in explaining the total variance criteria, accounts for 92.7 %. Basketball players will spend less time on the court if poor shooting for three points , and have more unsuccessful shots and inferior to 3 percentage points, and the players who have more turnovers. One of the limiting factors are and made personal mistakes, which is generally known since the basketball rules, such that a player during a match can make five personal mistakes, and then had to leave the game. If basketball players have more rebounds in defense, more steals and assists, will have more playing time.
